ABOUT US
Our mandate
The organization "Les Auvergnois Ponteix, Inc." accomplishes its mission and mandate by providing services, programs and products to francophones in the Ponteix District in Canada's two official languages.
The Centre Cultural Royer, by its name, celebrates a man called Abbé Royer, the founder of the parish of Ponteix. This gathering, celebrating, socializing and educating place joined both French and English people. "Les Auvergnois de Ponteix" allows us to keep alive the legacy of the past, to forge ties with it by archiving documents, donated by the citizens of Ponteix. It prepares the community for the future by promoting bilingualism and by giving locals to groups that need a place for social gatherings.
